algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Project 2D curves onto object using UV coordinates.

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how to project some curves on an object. The problem is that i don't want to do a simple projection like planar, cylindrical or spherical but project using unwrapped UV coordinates.

Are there a directions you can point me to?

Hi Chuck,

I think there is only one way (I hope you undestand my inglish). You must to have base ("origin") surface with you curves and use the Map to Surface component from tab Transform/Morf.

wow, thanks, that brings me one big step into the right direction!

i'll still  have to figure out a way to make it work for a mesh with a lot of surfaces.
