Progressive increase of elements with each floor_with SERIES component?

Hi,

I'm trying to optimise a facade.

I would like for the vertical fins to increase with each floor (see arrow on the Rhino screenshot). They are currently more densely packed towards the right (because the incident solar radiation is higher). How can i preserve this property of variable distribution while increasing the number per floor? I have tried with the series command, but am not succeeding.

How could I do, ideally still with the Series component? If wrong, how otherwise?

Anyway, I don't understand why the solar radiation becomes denser on the right side of the same facade unless if you have an obstacle in front of the building on the left and always covering the left part of facade.

Hi Hyungsoo Kim, many thanks for your help, the result looks really great. Yes, the solar radiation has that pattern, coz of the surrounding buildings.
The one thing I might not have explained well enough is, if I wish that the ground floor has for x fins and going up, the number of fins increases by one, how would I be supposed to do please?
It's what I thought I would have sorted with the Serie Component but I am not getting it...

I am a bit struggling though to understand your script as I am a very beginner, e.g. first of all, where did you get the first curve from, which then generates it all?

As I have another couple of geometries which should also follow a similar or the same logic of replication...

Hi Hyungsoo Kim,

It's probably easier if I send you my model again but more complete.

It has the top floor done, with the vertical shading following the linear equation but to it it's also linked the series of facade panels which are each an alternation of solid and glazed portions. A slider defines the proportion of one respect to the other.

The vertical fins also have the possibility to rotate.the whole thing needs to be repeated to the lower floors, diminishing one vertical fin at the time.

My issue with your previous solution is that I can't see how to extract from it what I need to duplicate my model, without changing it totally from scratch, as unfortunately I don't have time to do so.

Would you be able to point me in the right direction but keeping what I did so far, if possible, please?

It is an unreasonable demand to decode all definition you have created and ask for help.

It is a good idea to narrow down your problem and posting essential part of the code, possibly excluding the plugin. Not everyone is installing DIVA.

Otherwise it will be difficult for others to help you.

And the common mistake of beginners is to start off without setting the definition prametrically from scratch. It is hard to turn back after things have gone too far.

Try to post a new discussion. Best.

Be sure to check the attached file to see what the benefits of configuring the definition parametrically from the beginning are. You'll need "Lunchbox"plug-in.

that's really nice what you did, thank you, I will look at it properly after my deadline and understand well all passages and logic behind.

Earlier I forgot the DIVA components in, sorry. The rest is grouped and with scribbles, but anyway I simplified the question and posted a new discussion as you suggested.

I would need in fact to keep the floor as I built it and understand how to replicate it to the lower floors only, without changing the whole equation construction I did.

In case you don't mind to have a look to my newest and simpler discussion, I would be really very grateful.
