Problems projecting to a surface...

I've created a grid on a surface from a bounding box of a brep, but when I go to project this grid onto the brep and/or surface it doesn't want to project all of the lines using grasshopper completely.

But if i bake the grid lines as well as the brep and project the grid to the brep, it works fine...any ideas to why?

Hi Ryan,
I just stumbled upon your question when i did a search action, so that's why my response is quite late.
I tried your defenition in grasshopper 080004, and it worked just fine for me, so I take it that your question doesnt need answering anymore, right? (Not that I had an answer to why it wasn't working before, but i was willing to look into it, and learning something in the process:))
But I wondered why your grid isn't a square one, but rectengular (though only just). Is that what you were after?
