Problems Opening GH files

Hi,

I'm working in Rhino 4 and am just learning Grasshopper 0.6.0091. Unfortunatley, I haven't been able to open any of the files I've saved. I keep getting the error "Method not found: 'Boolean GH_IO.Serialization.GH_IReader.TryGetInt32(System.String, Int32 ByRef)'."

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I've attached the error log.

Hi Mac,

that particular method was added fairly recently. It almost looks like you're using a new Grasshopper.dll with an old GH_IO.dll file. Something here went very wrong with versioning. You can try re-installing, but I think you'll have to do the following:

Have your computer search your entire harddisk for the following files:

grasshopper.rhp
grasshopper.dll
GH_IO.dll
GH_Util.dll
CSharpOpenGL.dll
*.gha

All of these files indicate that Grasshopper was once installed in that location. If uninstalling Grasshopper does not remove these files, delete them by hand.

Then make sure the Grasshopper command no longer works in Rhino.

Now re-install Grasshopper 0.6.0019.
