Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm doing a map based on proximity to a point which is moveable based on a slider to determine its location on a curve. The proximity of the point on the curve defines the radius size of circles defined by various points. It's these circles I'm trying to bake. The problem I'm having is that I can't bake ANY circles.

I've tried baking the circles defined by my system, which is a simple solution. I've also tried baking a circle based on one point and whose radius is derived by a slider. Neither work to bake the circle. I've tried attaching a curve to the circle, and although I get a preview of a curve that is a circle, it doesn't bake.

I feel like I'm out of options. Please help!

Hi Nikola,

please try saving, and restarting Rhino and Grasshopper. Then select the component with circles and click on "Insert" on your keyboard. This always solved this issue for me.

Thanks Giulio, but unfortunately that didn't work. When I do boxes it bakes perfectly. I'm simply remaking the boxes into circles manually after. Not ideal, but it's the only solution for now.
try connecting the circles in a new empty "crv component" and try again...
or maybe you have a null item? try with the clean component...
