Does relaunching Rhino cause them to reappear? or do they never show at all?

Hi David,

we reinstalled GH and also have all necessary .net applications installed,...

I also had this effect sometimes but restarting rhino always helped.

In this case it still doesn't work, do you have any clue?

yes, restarting rhino helps, but only for a few minutes...

this issue has been noted before, but as far as I know David hasn't yet found the problem....

Yeah I don't know why it's not working. Once the new release is out (tomorrow hopefully) I can give you a VB component that checks properties of the Tooltip. It may help narrow things down.

Another solution that works for me:

There's an application called 'Grasshopper Custom Tooltip' that you can select via Alt+Tab and then close by pressing Alt+F4. This is happening on Win7 x64 to me.

Cool, I had no idea the tooltip showed up in the Window list.

Nice! Only could turn it off using with Task Manager, though...
