algorithmic modeling for Rhino

problem with split with brep

I have closed spline and i have to cut it for use in further. But cuting not predictable.
Sorry about my bad english but hope this pictures can explain what problem i mean.

i can't repeat but there problem still have. And i don't know how i can select only right part of section. When curve is open then the definition worked excellent.
