Problem with Shift List in creating Helix like curve

Dear All

Hi there I am trying to create a curve the spins over a point across several circles that had been each divided equally.

I am trying to create this curve that would connect to the shifted points on each circle resulting in a somewhat DNA curve shape.

I have tried to use Shift list but it resulted in the curve being curled around the circles before shouting off to the point on the next circle

(pls see the attached GH and Rhino file, I have manually made the "Desired Results" next to the "Actual Result (undesired!!).

Would anyone be so kind to point out what I have missed in the process or kindly point me to the right direction?
