algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

I have a stupid small problem I am facing while using the random reduce reduce component. I have attached the random reduce component to the list and it gives me desired result. However, I am not beinga ble to find a way to get the both the lists separately. Thats the randomly selected ones and the unselected ones. I am sure there is a way but not being able to find it. Attaching the files. Please help soon!!

Thanks a mil!

Aha, I didn't try that...
Did the NUScale work how you planned?

hey yes it works with the plane normal component too!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :)
but it works only for creating gap between units... not yet figured out how to randomise 2 different sized units.... :(
That's why I said partial solution;) I don't understand what panels you want to remove (the picture 1.jpg isn't clear to me), because if the planes of one serie are twice as long they only partially overlap the other panels, right?
no hey will totally overlap if its twice the length right? width is constant.. and even if they are not removed its ok.. i can do that manually but i need to randomise the 2 series..with 2 different length panels...
make us a drawing please. if they panels are three times the length they will completely overlap their top and bottom neighbours, is that what you meant?
yes thats exactly what i mean... so they can be 2,3,4 or whatever times the original length... basically how do i get panels of 2 different lengths to randomly arrange themselves with each other.. rather in a simple way it means.. i just want to replace one stream of the existing random stream with panel of another length... and then cull the overlapping panels.. am i making sense?? :(
No, I don't understand, you forgot the drawing;)
For instance, what happens if there are longer panels above eachother?
ok sure will send the drawing once in office tomo... dont have it here.. but basically nothing if they are above each other..4 panels will be deleted which overlap with the 2 long ones... basically long panels will always be in multiples of original one... actually m designing a building facade.. so each panel represents a floor or 2 floors or 4.. and i want to have a pattren with more than one type of panel..hope you are getting me..but will send a drawing anyway..
