algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

I have a stupid small problem I am facing while using the random reduce reduce component. I have attached the random reduce component to the list and it gives me desired result. However, I am not beinga ble to find a way to get the both the lists separately. Thats the randomly selected ones and the unselected ones. I am sure there is a way but not being able to find it. Attaching the files. Please help soon!!

Thanks a mil!

the random component Domain is from 0.0 to 1.0

replace component (first one) : F=1 ; R=False

replace component (secound one) : F=0 ; R=True

the upper sort part you do not need (forgot to delete)

Best Regards

hey thanks a ton!!!

you save me at the right moment! :)

thanks again!!!

n.m. (as in Not Much/nicht sehr wichtig)
Hi Dedackelzucht, I noticed that the amount of the reduce isn't the same as the number of dispatched surfaces, but I guess that not much of a problem here. (B.t.w. you don't need the replace components, you can just use 0 and 1 for the dispatch pattern.)
ha, I did not know this? But quiet logic, mh! :-) Thanks anyway!
mh?
Do you understand why I seem to have a total of 1165 surfaces? I'm having a black out here...

Hey Dedackel,

Which replace component is this. replace branches right?

The one i have in this version has some totally different input parameters. :(

hey i got it! thanks anyways!

Hi Riddhi,

The Replace Component in Dackel's screen shot is a String Replace component that is not present in your version.

If you want to recreate the function you can use an Fx3 component and have F = replace(x,y,z) where x is the string to search, y the string to find and z is the string to replace.

Hi Riddhi, Hi Dedackelzucht,
I tried something too, but now the result is confusing me.
It looks like it's working, however if I add up the amount of surfaces, I end up with 1165 instead of 1014... What did I do wrong? I don't get it :|

Thanks to Dedackelzucht for inspiration :), here is a mix of the two. you now can set the amount of culled surfaces.
