Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey,

I have got Invalid Curves inside my definition and I do not know why? I need to bake them, but they can not be baked as long as they are invalid :-(

Best Regards

Weird, definitely looks like a bug. Not sure whose yet.

I added some logging to your file, it at least shows why Rhino feels these curves are not valid.

It's possible (and I'm just guessing here) that the transformation somehow pushes the inherent imperfection of the input curve over the tolerance threshold.

But the Rhino _List command claims there is no imperfection between segment 5 and 6... so we're not really any closer to an answer.

But I did find that when you Explode and then Rejoin the curves, you'll end up with bakeable geometry.

I added an extra output to the Is Valid component that will hopefully help with finding problems like these in the future:

Hey David,

many thanks, exploding and joining works perfect. I tried different ways to circumvent Ghrasshopper, but nothing worked.

The Crv are not drwan in Rhino, they are imported from a different Cad programm. Maybe there is a bug?

Thank you very much!

Best Regards
