algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I'm a student in my first few months of learning GH and I'm trying to design a conceptual structure using simple geometry. I am attempting to deform simple arcs into ones that are slightly more irregular.  I have tried to use attractor curves, pulling points, itemizing each division point on my curves and then interpolating through these points, and nothing has worked.

My most recent attempt has been to use an attractor curve and then replace original list items with my moved points.  Does anyone have any ideas on how else I should try to modify these shapes? Ideally, the deformations would be larger and more pronounced toward the middle of the structure. The picture below is a simple sketch section which indicates one original arc and one that is deformed.

Any ideas would be appreciated; I am very stuck!

Thank you!!

This gets me so much closer...and is a much more elegant definition than mine.

I appreciate your help.
