algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi !
I'm so new to grasshopper and this forum as well ! i searched so much in here but still couldn't find the answer.
i'm trying to model a 3D voronoi inspired by Michael Kukla Works ( I'll add a photo )
I tried so many different ways but none worked !
i need 3 layers, each layer has a different number of points, so there will be different size of holes. ( I think I've reached this point )
I used a pop2d -> 2D Voronoi -> Scaled ( dist from curve )
but I want all three layers connected to each other, i tried also 3D Voronoi and the Voronax Plugin and none worked !
I'm so confused :D

thought you asked about this http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CT-LBHgEVKM/T5JTeifHczI/AAAAAAAAAMk/2W_ju...
sorry not so much time these days, maybe the weekend or someone else here
Any luck Arian?
Im looking to create something quite similar - I have been experimenting with flow lines but really want to get this phase out onto the surface in these latest images
unfortunately not ! :(
I'm totally disappointed
This is in every way a better script, cocoon is better than the geometry wrapper, and I forgot to cull the duplicates I see. It would be even better if the denser voronoi has also a lower radii.
That is helpful thanks Marc, I have looked into something similar to this but would you have any idea how to get the edges to fade into the surface?
Can't be too difficult, just make a brep with a hole in it and test for each line if they are in that brep or not.
This is for @MarcGrasshopper's definition:
For some reason, the definition only runs until you extract curves and then put it as a geometry for the geometry wrapper. Would you have any insight on why this might be?
