Problem Installing Elk2

Hello,

I have worked with Elk I. Now im trying to install ELK II but its not show up. i have followed the instructions on how to install it from food4rhino but no luck.

Does anyone know the trick to get ElK II to show up?

Usually it's because one or more of the files is blocked. When you launch Grasshopper and it fails to load it should give you an error in the Rhino command history. Look at which file is throwing an error and make sure it's in the same folder as the Elk2.gha and that it is unblocked.

I unblocked the entire folder before unzipping. and when I double checked everything is unblocked.

Did them the same thing on my friends PC and it showed up.

Hi Timothy, I have used your plugin on several different machines successfully, but i just got a new computer and when installing elk I can't seem to see the Elk 2 plugins. I made sure the unblock box was checked and used the 64 bit version of rhino, as well as checked to see if there was an error when I open grasshopper (which there is not) and I am stumped. I installed the folder in the grasshopper components folder. It is weird because part of it is working.. just not the part I use. Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe obvious question but... Did you "unblocked" compressed file before
unzipping/installing?
...proceeding in this way prevents you having to 
unblock files one by one...

yes I unblocked before unzipping and doubled checked every file to make sure they are unblocked.
