Problem curve perpendicular open surface

Hi all,

Probably very simple doubt...Trying to draw a curve perpendicular to an open surface as shown on the image. Definition works for a simple planar surface but am having problems when trying on this open surface (resultant from lofting edge curves)...

Any tip to solve this one? Fx!

the starting point for the line has to be the same evaluate point on surface... but i think that you dont know that on the evaluate point on surface the input is a UV coordinate and you are input a point in the XYZ space...

a quick fix is using a "closest point to surface" after the list item (point) and then use the uv coordinate from CP surface on the evaluate point on surface (fix the starting point input also).
