Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

I am simulating a case for outdoor noise using both Rhino and GH plugin. In rhino I get a option to choose between energy time curve and pressure time curve (IR). But I couldn't find a pressure time curve component to extract SPL. So, is there a way to convert image source data, direct sound data and ray tracing data into pressure time curve?

Thank you!

I am not if I understood well, but if the goal is to calculate SPL, you should be able to extract SPL for the energy time curve component in GH.

You just need to connect it with direct sound, image source and ray tracing components as input and with sound pressure level component on output side

Hope it helps!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I already did that.

Maybe I should rephrase my case. So, in Rhino, after the analysis we get an Energy-time curve (fig 1) and pressure time curve (fig 2). The sound pressure levels corresponding to each curve are different. So, I would like to know why there is a difference between those values. And is there a way to get values corresponding to fig 2 in grasshopper?
