algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Preparing for Lasercutting (Packing)

Hi Guys,

iam new to phyton and scripting and i really dont know if there is an easy or makeable opportunity to pack those curves very thick together inside the frame. There are many same curves on the same layer and a given frame. I need it to get the most efficient packing to use nearly every area of the material. Maybe with hoopsnake? kangaroo? or Phyton?

May you have an idea?

Download RhinoNest and you will use it forever, it is the best for packing...

You will find some packing algorithm on this forum. There are also other softwares a free one svgnest but the subject is quite complex and if you want the most efficient you will have surely to pay for Rhinonest of other professional tools.
