algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Under certain conditions and with a dose of Karma it is (using Kangaroo2 (best) or ShapeOp (semi-semi) or Evolute tools pro (very expensive AND NOT "GH interactive": works on some static mesh)).
Notify if you want a not so simple example.
BTW: Planarity is a weird thingy: always consider it within real-life tolerances AND NOT within some "academic" perspective. For instance and given a proper frame system that can "adapt" accordingly ... a difference/deviation (min distance between diagonals)... say of 5 mm is perfectly OK.
Hello
you ask many time the same questions without answering. So what ? Did you look at my answer here ?
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/how-to-divide-a-double-cu...
Not happy with that ? Why ?
Because the answer of your question could be simply : YES it is possible.
And I think the answer of Peter is good with quads and this one is good for polygons
