Populate/multiply radially along axis possible? (with 1d scaling)

Hello,

Im a new user. .

I wanted to populate/multiply (with 1d scaling) an object along an axis/line. . is there another way other than doing it individually (local rotation and scaling) as i have done. . require an over all control of multiply, rotation and scaling. . Thnx in advance. .

Hi Schiraz CP,

I'm not sure if this is what you wanted, I have created a definition that allows you to control the number of spikes, and the angle between them. The x, y and z scale factors are driven by 3 different random number lists, but you could control them with other lists of values if you wish to be more specific.

The axis is a referenced curve which you can move, but note that the input spike rotates around the origin point, which you can change if needed.

I've attached the .gh and .3dm too

Hope this helps!
