Points on Curves nos working as expected?

Hello everyone,

Im experiencing an issue trying to re order a tree of points.

I have a tree of points, project them into multiple curves and find the point closest point.

Now, this curve closest point operation does not leave me a tree with a branch for each curve.

I want to have a branch for each curve, and this branch should have the points that were projected to it. BUT with the original curve structure. This is 37 branches with 11 curves per branch. 

I thought about points in curve, sorting by the point on the curve. But its not working as expected.... Some points that are clearly on a curve are left out.
