Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I've been experiencing some problems with components from plugins for rhino. When I make a new layout, the components are there and visible. But when I close Rhino and open again, some components are missing in the panel. When I try typing the name of some components from the plugin in the create component bar, they do pop up and I can use them.

Anybody any idea what's going on or how I could solve it?

With the plugins I have installed it happens with Peacock and Fabtools and then also a standalone component I found on the forum from somebody I can't recall now.

I added a before and after screenshot of grasshopper. I'm working with latest rhino & grasshopper version on windows 8.

Any help would be nice. :)

So you don't have any layout loaded?

Hi David,

Thanks for your quick reply. I think I do have a layout loaded (or I'm missing out on something very obvious). I added images of tabs which do work and right click on the bar so you can see there is a layout active.

...

Ok... I was just wondering what that eye icon was and pressed on it and tried again. And it's working now. This is kind of embarrassing.

What does that eye-icon exactly mean or do?
