algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Plotting tetrahedrons through line of best fit.

Hi guys, first post on the forum and still learning grasshopper

I am trying to establish a process that joins truncated tetrahedrons in a chain that roughly follow a curve that i specify which i can later update. 

I want to achieve this by analyzing the 4 mirrored options produced and evaluating which of these is closest to the curve which acts as a line of best fit.

I've attached my grasshopper file, rhino file and also a pdf explaining what I want to achieve with illustrations.

that's perfect exactly what I'm looking for. I've worked out my own way for it to approximate the curve but I like your version much better

Of course, this deffinition is a bit simpler than the video´s; it is easier to understand so,
