algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi !
I have issue with voxelizing definition.
what I tried to achieve is voxelising but with wire frame boxes. (square section frames)
I followed from other discussion page but when I use this definition,
the file get huge. (I ended up with 2gb.) so I was not able to render it.
Is there any alternative way that I can voxelising with wire frame boxes? and the file goes quite small....?
I tried to voxelise 200m by 200m by 120m high sculpture with 1.5 square wireframe boxes.
Any suggestions..??

If you're working with that much geometry and the main purpose is to render, you'd almost certainly be better off working with meshes instead of NURBS geometry. Have you tried exoskeleton? http://www.grasshopper3d.com/profiles/blogs/exoskeleton-cytoskeleto...
Also, it'd be easier to help if you internalised your geometry along with your definition...

From this base geometry, could I start doing exoskeleton? I am new to grasshopper so I am struggling alot...
It doesn't look like that geometry should create such a large file...it appears to me to be a fairly straightforward mesh, so the first thing you may want to look at is that.
I guess it isn't too clear exactly what you'd like to do...you want to sample your geometry in a space that is 200 x 200 x 90, at a resolution of 1.5 (this results in a sampling grid of 2.4 million points) and convert your geometry into voxels within this grid...and then extract a wireframe from the resulting voxels?
Yes that is what I want to do...
I found that I hidden some objects so the file was huge...

I got problem while I was working on Exo,
Refer to red box no.2, is there any way that I can make them into rectangle section column? (now I have almost circle section column) and not having huge number of horizontal sections?
Refer to red box no.3, is there anyway that I can join those columns and beams with clean, sharp edge like the cube?
Red box no.1 shows the parameters that I put and once I change something, it keep freeze. Did I put something mistake to make my computer slow and keep freeze...?
Any suggestions... Please...?
