i don't know why the left can work and the right can't..

how can i write the code in python?please help,thanks~

The right hand side you are supplying the name of the curve which is a GUID when it is expecting the object itself.

It's the equivalent of trying to dress a business card in a suit rather than the individual who is standing around in their underwear.

A solution for this will need to come from someone else though as I'm not up to speed on python yet

selection like this would block the solution every time and would create quite a nightmare for your users, so it is not directly encouraged. You can still do it (I highly suggest not to do it, though).

By default, RhinoScript now uses the special ghPython document, which is invisible.I wonder, though, if you are actually trying to archive something else?
