algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello.

I have a set of non-coplanar planes (with point as a centroid, and vector as a z-vector for each plane), All I need is to find the intersections between neighbouring planes (only).
Than draw a line on the intersection.

Any ideas?

Sincerely yours.
Eugene.

Hi Eugene,

how do you know which planes are neighbouring?

Hi David.

I have a control (input) points on XY-plane they are projected onto (input) surface, and there they make new planes all according to input surface normals. Then i have a list of planes.

So the neighbour definition should go from my input points (maybe through Voronoi???).

And i am pretty confused as i seem to find no possibilities to intersect them with each other.

I tried extracting list into many with "cull", it had no effect.

Tried "BRep", but it needs two or three planes (where i have close to a 100).

I imagine the end resuls like Voronoi pattern with only difference that all generated surfaces must be planar.

And that's how i want them to look like (only without these jumpy edges -made with 3d voronoi- not exactly the result i search for).

Thank you for your time.

Best regards.

Eugene.

Hello Eugene,

Did you find a solution ? I have exactly the same problem

This could be a start.

Hope this helps!
