algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to take a solid brep extrusion and split it into levels to calculate the area of each. I have used the script attached below (see image) and it works fine on a solid object or multiple solid objects.

However, when I use the script on a solid extrusion with holes in the middle, the surface command doesn't function like the surface command in Rhino by making a surface with holes in, it creates multiple surfaces.

Any ideas?

Hi.

Try this.

Spot on-thanks!

Hi Hyungsoo, nothing much, but the "Round(x,2)" is superfluous: the formatting rule for the Tag does the same rounding ({0:0.00}). Seems the floornumbers don't even need to be converted to integers (no idea why not though).
I tinkered a little script to add the ordinal suffix to integers (1st, 2nd, 3rd,... 100th etc.), maybe it's of use to anyone.

Thanks for pointing out this. Pieter.

Your def is always concise and neat for the logic.

Do you have a link for the TreeSloth plugin? The file seems to crash my computer when I try and run this script.

Minior change of Pieter's(㎥-->㎡)

There was a a typing error in my first post.
