Planar surface bug ??

Hi ,

I have one  closed pannar curve ,but I cant get planar surface based on this curve by using Planar Surface comppnent . I bake this curve , and I can get planar surface by using rhino command . Is this a bug ??  For more info see attached picture and rhino file .

Your curve is planar, but isn't closed (it looks like your start and end points are ~1.8 cm apart).  I could be wrong, but I think that Rhino is more forgiving in making planar surfaces than GH is, essentially identifying internal intersections and trimming the outer bit...I've attached a quick fix definition that relies on using self intersections to trim out the extra bit...
