Planar index problem

I have list of curves, and I turn them into planar surfaces.

In theory if I list any item from the curv and the planar list, the curve (which I represent with pipes)  has to be the border of the surface.

In fact if you see the attached files somites give a false result. If use the index slider, for example at number 4, it gives a wrong result.

Or did I make a mistake somwhere?

Pretty buggy by the looks of it.

You can fix it easily by Grafting then flattening

Thanks for the answer, but I dont understand the logic behind it. The planar surface comes from the same order of the curves. Why does it go wrong?
