Pipe variable- How to set the same points for different curves

 Hello everyone. I am trying to make multiple pipes  in which the two points where the diameter changes are always at the same distance from the curve ends (let's say 60 cm).Problem with my algorythm is that everytime i apply it on another curve, i have to measure the curve, and determine which proportion from that length is 60 cm. Is there any way i can make my algorythm set the 2 points always at 60 cm from the edges, regardless of the curve length? Thank you
