algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Physical model question

so I made this script to create this Geometry thats made out of Polygons that are following a sine curve and rotating gradually.

I have to laser cut this out of paper and put it together. ANY suggestions for joints would be so much appreciated. Suggestions from real projects, sculptures, any thing is welcomed.

I want it to hold its shape and crumble down

What's the purpose for the model? Or what is it suppose to be?
