Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello guys,

I am trying to make a definition that basically rotates all individual elements of any given pattern grid in way that they are all perpendicular to an attractor point. just like the picture i have uploaded here.

to be more specific, I want the longest side (if it is an rectangle) or the longest diagonal (if it is an ellipse) to be perpendicular to the attractor point.

i'd really appreciate it if you could help me with this definition.

thanks

Omid

Hi David,

thank you very much, but I unfortunately cannot open the file. I am using grasshopper 0.6.0059.

I tried to install the newest version, but my rhino is not upgraded.

is there any other way i could open the file with this version i have?

thanks again
Nope, no way. You should upgrade to Rhino4 SR8 (or Rhino5 WIP). It's free and has many bug fixes.
