algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi there!
I found few simple patterns on the website I'm going to try to do the same:)

I wonder how can I make similar thing on the any, non-flat surface?
Is the triangulating of the surface definition usefull? Can I only switch in tho it- to distribute the colors on it? The question is- what is it? ;)

HI,
Just a suggestion for the methodology:
Use the triangular grid component in combination to an image sampler.
smaple the color values--> remap them-->add some noise and some jitter
apply a new rgb or hsl swatch to each triangle of the grid and you are good to go...

M.
Thanks Marios T for the reply.
Unfortunately I'm on the beginning of the GH adventure and really doesn't understand much :(
To big shortcut of thinking for me to understand.
Thanks Marios T :)
Something happens. Almost. I don't understand what is the "split" for (and what is the index of "c" in split slot ?) and then the 3x items?
I'm trying to do the same but the color range is different. When can i Set it. Colors are not connected tho the image.
Hi,
I am glad that you got it working. Sorry for my delayed replies but I have been really busy at work. Next step is to get it on a surface... You can use Nathan's triangular panels from the lunchbox add-on to get that..
regards,
M.
How to "bake" the colors and export them to 3D Max or other program and render?
Danny,
who is this guy???
