Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I am working on a sort of cabling network based on a voronoi diagram.

I have created 3 different layers of the same voronoi(one layer is the scaled down version and the other is a circle placed at the center of each cell). I have placed 30 points on each of the cells and want to create a curve connecting each point with the reciprocating point on the other layers of the cell strucutre.

I am uploading the file, maybe someone would be kind enough to tell me what i am doing wrong.

there's a branching level mismatch at the merge level. Simplify removes all branching levels that do not actually branch. This removes all unneccessary 0 in the path and brings all points to the same tree structure. Grafting the merge input makes sure that points are merged to separate lists with 3 items each

Hi hannes,

Thank you so much!works perfectly..

But now i have hit  wall with another similar problem, i am using the same method as the one you showed but this time it isn't working. Any chance you could figure out what is wrong in this script?

I am trying to connect the reciprocating vertexes of the different levels of voronois.. But somehow a mismatch occurs...

Sorry for bugging you guys all the time with my silly questions, just couldnt sort it out and it is driving me nuts!

The polygons are not in the same order.

If you pick them from the document, you need to make sure, they are selected in the same order. Can you input them from where you actually generated the curves?
