algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have an existing horizontal surface, and I want to orient its UV directions according to a given angle from the y axis.

The first idea I have come up with is this one:

It is based on the PatchSurface component, which remaps the original surface so that its UV coordinates are oriented as the xy plane. Definitely not a very elegant, though. Moreover, this does not work as expected. Depending on the angle, UV directions are swapped as in these two examples:
