algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to make an interactive 3D voronoi. The example that I have attached is part of a larger definition.

The problem that i have is that every time I move a point to change the voronoi tessellation the whole tessellation is regenerated which if there are a lot of points takes long time. I'n thinking that it is possible to use the "voronoi cell" component and update only a cluster of cells.

Any advice is welcome.

It is programmatically possible to recompute a partial Voronoi diagram and of course if you only ever make minor changes then it is a great way to optimize the process. Grasshopper however has no concept of partial expiration. When data changes it expires the entire component not just that part of it that would have been affected by the change. This is one of those really-hard-to-do-but-potentially-very-useful-optimizations that is scheduled for Grasshopper 6.0
