Any clues in how can I start to parametrize something like this?

Are those main divisions straight lines or curves?

Also: Are the wooden plank widths supposed to be random or predefined 3 sizes (like in the pic)?

OK so the script is very noobish but kinda works

cool.
can you show us, how to assign surfaces with identical proportions a certain color?

I was totally improvising and I bet this could be done better but here you go.

cool!

sorry for a further question.
can you relate your script to a surface?
so that the subdivision refers to the length and the width of the surface,
with the goal that the divisions take place in an enclosed area.

thanks

I will try tomorrow :>

Nice! you are great man!

Look:

this is where I am apply the wood planks.

to each one of those triangular faces.

One little detail that you forgot though its the separation between each peace of wood!

how can this be add to the definition! any ideas?

Thanks!

I am off for today but the  separation is the easy part.

You just take each plank and scale it by it's center point (its in the area component)

Ja! yeah thats true! :P

hey but RWNB questions sounds Interesting!

any comments on that?

Thanks

you are the man!

its not that simple!

because the scale affects the elements different because they are different.

any ways a different value has to be apply for each plank.

wireframe each surface, offset the long sides, re loft the new offset lines.
