How can this parametric equation  can be  added  instead of sin(x) ?

x=t-sin(t)

y=1-cos(t)

Some additional parameters(amplitude & period) can be added to your formula so that you can have more control on your sinewave.

I want to know  if  it is possible to run both x=t-sin(t) and y=1-cos(t) only for one side.  

HI Deniz,

Sure, try plugging your equation into one of the equation boxes that Hyungsoo has set up for you, and see what happens. This is one of the beauties of grasshopper - you can run almost any equation you want through. If you study the example, you can get an idea of how the parameters are passed. 

And, use only one of the boxes, and that will be only one 'side' of the surface, one wave if you will.
