Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I've been messing around with Grasshopper for quite a while but most of the time using others' scripts which I then rework to fit my needs. Recently I found that user on Instagram who creates sick stuff with Grasshopper. Everything by that guy named after_form is beautiful but what actually is most appealing to me are the benches made by him.

This is one of his benches.

I'm very curious how he scripts something that complex. I tried by lofting curves which I control with graph mapper, also followed a tutorial in Youtube for a similar but also a lot simpler bench than his but never achieved my aim to replicate this style. I want by no means to steal his idea and I do respect him as a designer and architect just wanted to make something like this by myself. Doing free hand modelling in Rhino is not an option cause I want to keep the object parametric.

Does someone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Another person already else asked a similar question, maybe you can find inspiration from there.

Thanks for your reply, vhoang. Unfortunately, the images that the user posted are totally unreadable so this is of no help to me :(
