Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Last night i posted about finding a solution to a problem ive had for some time. I have a series of overlapping surfaces which i want to merge by i assume finding the outline of the surfaces via the region union tool and using boundary surfaces to recreate the cleaned up surfaces. For some reason this process does not work in the algorithm I have set up.

Could someone please help me?

Starting a new thread for this is lame...

Your code is a mess!  Using 'PlaneSrf' here makes no sense to me.  No clue what all the rest is about...

What's so hard about this?

Started a new thread because its a more complex question...

the rest of the algorithm is how ive produced these patterns, its probably a mess but I think im doing ok for somebody who's used grasshopper for two projects. I deliberately uploaded a simplified version of my file the first time so that people wouldn't get confused by anything except for my question, 'how to turn these surfaces into merged non- overlapping surfaces'. Ive uploaded the full version of by gh and 3dm files out of the hope that maybe somebody can notice where ive gone wrong.  I know r-union should work on these but its not. Any advice is handy!

wrong link uploaded, this is the current version
