algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear Grasshopper Community

I have a series of overlapping surfaces which I would like to merge where they overlap. Ie find the outline of the surfaces and create a planar surface between them. I have tried to work this out for two days and scoured the internet for answers with no results unfortunately. But hopefully somebody here can help me.

I have attached a rhino file with one of the surfaces

Thanks in advance

Chris

Use RegionUnion component (in tab Intersect > Shape)

Thanks for the prompt reply Pieter

I see what I was doing wrong now. I had tried to use the region union command before but didnt realize the surfaces had to be in the right plane for the tool to work properly. Thanks for the quick solution!

Hi just a follow up on yesterdays question, it seems using region union does not work on all the surfaces in my file... i have attached the full version of my work to this comment...
