algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Folks,

I'm going to be visiting Shanghai next week and I'm looking for the low down on what to see and do (or rather to prioritize).

I've read two guide books and now have information overload. Any ideas?

I'm going to be staying in the French Concession.

Interesting place that used to be an abattoir.  Now it hosts some restaurants, offices, and shops.

I saw a picture of this in one of the guide books it looks very Escher-esque

Their enclosures are so small... :(

Yes, start with the "Shanghai urban planning exhibition center" where you will learn more about the city, walk around People square. Then go for sunset at the Bound, got to the Yu garden to feel the tourist mood ;), have a look to Xi Tian Di ( it's a mall but interesting to see even if it's still fake) and souther to Tianzifan to hang out for a drink. After the night life is fun at the bound but if you know some local to show you other place in the French concession it's even better! Otherwise there is also the place of the last world exhibition than you can see but I can't tell you more I've been in SH only for a week end...

If you pop up in Hong Kong let me know I will show you around!

Have fun!!
