You can watch movies without that black frame...

But seriously - I bought my netbook solely for its battery life. In seminars i like to type instead of the old fashioned ink/paper way of hardcopying.

I never really understood why people would want to watch cinema movies in picture perfect quality anyway. Those were designed for a large screen anyway. Most other tasks reqire more of a portrait aspect ratio or at least a good vertical resolution.

I can't effectively browse the web with my "net"book, because websites are designed for more that the 768 vertical pixels i have.

Don't get me started on portable sound ;) (portable means detachable wheels and transport crates :D )
