Origami-like folded surface

Hi guys! I want to create something that looks like the pic attached. Any ideas how it could be done? I produce two curves using a sine function, which i then convert into 1 degree polylines, and then i offset them along x and z axis. I thought loft could work, but all it produces is a skewed accordeon-like surface. any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi! thank you very much! sorry for the newbie question, please bare with me.. basically what I am trying to do is use 2 lines i have generated and connect their points through the pattern (see attached file)
is there any easy way to do this?
