Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am experimenting with creating a radial fin wall.

Attached is a rhino and grasshopper.I have gotten it to take geometry from RHINO and section it in GRASSHOPPER about radial section planes, then create planar surfaces, and then extrude them to a thickness.

Two issues:

1) Its seems like more section curves have been created thann cut planes used in the operation

2)How can I take the radial planar surfaces derived from the sectioning routine and orient on the x,y plane and then onto a sheet?

Thanks and I appreciate any insight. This is my first post.

I made some marks and comments in the file if it helps at all.

Work on something like maybe you can be useful

in my case the elements are oriented toward the center of the circle and the same works as an attractor.

Thanks for the reply. This looks interesting but I am not sure if there is a aspect of this that is taking the elements and reorienting them to a flat sheet. If yes, can you explain how that is working for you?

I understand your second question you are trying to leave the radial surfaces in the XY plane and then they can be cut?

this is useful?
