algorithmic modeling for Rhino

orienting direction

Hi 
I am building this proliferation of components the components are basicly identical, but have the ability to change the curvature, each component individualy.
I tried making the proliferation with "orient direction" but there seems to be a problem beacause the component moves its orientation not only when the directing vector and point change but also when the very component itself moves.
Well, its kind of hard explaining it, I hope the script will make it easier to understand. Though it is also quite complicated.
If you think you can help me, It is realy urgent for a presentation I have in a few days

I looked into your definition and yes, it's quite complicated - could you maybe post an image explaining which geometry is "the component" and express what exactly is the problem?

I hope this cleares it up a bit. the components are the arcs (with the pipes revolving them)
