Optimize cross section using a specific list of square hollow section?

Hi everyone,

I want to optimize the square hollow cross section of the elements of a diagrid. If, for example, in Cross section range selector I select US as a country, and I select the box shape it appears both square and rectangular profiles, while I just want square profiles. Is there a way to select only the square profiles? Or can I import the list of the square hollow cross section into karamba that I need?

I do not know if I've been very clear...

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Simona,

the default list of cross sections is defined in 'C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\Karamba\CrossSectionValues.csv'. You can open and edit the file with any texteditor or spread sheet program (e.g. Excel) and regroup or rename the cross sections there according to your needs.
Custom cross section tables can be imported via the 'ReadCSTable'-component.
Best,

Clemens

Ok, many thanks for your help!!!
