algorithmic modeling for Rhino

To All:

I have been trying to work through some of the examples of Galapagos with some modest success, but I have really been wrestling with one problem in particular.

Let's say I have a right circular cylinder of a predetermined surface area, say 600 square units.  I would like to optimize the volume of that cylinder using Galapagos.  I have tried a couple of different approaches but failed.  I am open to ideas/thoughts from the group for solving a problem like this in Galapagos.

Isn't there an example about this? You have to set the radius or the height of the cylinder as a function of it's area and its height or radius.

Exactly Jesus.  That was the logic I was following - just having some problems with component selection.  Thx.

Nice!  Thanks Chris.
