algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone

I'd like to create something like the picture 'example', I want control the openings. so I found here in discussions an algorithm for opening window that's interesting (yellow group in gh), but I tryid apply for twist facade (purple in gh) and didn't work. Someone knows how to do the model like the picture? Thanks very much

minor mistake (teal group) Rectangle accepts domain inputs, by inputting numbers the rectangles were getting drawn from the corner rather than from the centre, resulting in a positioning error for the holes.

Main thing (red group) is that unlike the yellow group, your example has twisted faces, so a straight up rectangle window would look super weird. Offsetting the faces and using Surface Split is a much simpler solution. And the windows fit the frames.

huh, looking at Kim's definition, scaling the face edges is way more simple and much less computationally intensive I guess..

Hi Vongsawat,

In this case I can't control separately each dimension, can I? I mean, one dimension to x openning and other to y?

Thank you for your attention.

Here we have a twisted ellipse tower with mesh.

You can control the opening size by moving attractor point.

Thank you very much !

Dear  Hyungsoo, Is it possible, do this same solution with surface rather than mesh? When I transform this object to surface the computer don't work anymore

It will helps me a lot, if its possible because the others elements (louvers) that I cried are with surface too, and they have to follow the design building, in this way the connection with building doesn't work. The solution with surface could be just the 1st part, the design building without oppenings. Could you help me ?

Check this.  Best.
