algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi All,
I have a problem getting GHPython to work suddenly - I have a script that used to work.
However now, the output says "No python engine available. This component needs Rhino v5".
Opening the code editor immediately causes Rhino and GH to crash.
Same thing happens for a new GHPython script in an otherwise empty editor.
I have Rhino 5, GH 0.9.0076, and the latest GHPython (0.6.0.3).
Re-installing GH, or getting the latest GHPython off github, haven't helped, nor has re-installing Python 2.7 and IronPython.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Alessandro
can you make sure that you have the latest version of Rhino 5?
Thanks

Hi Giulio,
I did have the latest version of Rhino 5, I think (at least python scripts used to work on my machine)... however, I figured out now that for some reason I also had a version of Rhino 4 installed. So maybe I incidentally opened Rhino 4 once at some point, which made ghpython think I was running Rhino 4 even in subsequent cases when the Rhino 5 was open. At least this is my best explanation of the error message?
Whatever was going on, uninstalling Rhino 4 and 5, and re-installing Rhino 5 did the trick, and everything is back to normal now.
Thanks a lot for your reply!
Best,
Alessandro
Good; thank you for letting me know!
