Hi Andrew

I fixed your file and added a few suggestions about what was not right.
As for the time being there is no debugger, you need to use print(), type() and dir() to discover what you are dealing with. Make sure you know what these functions do. Also, read the help of the Python component. Last, if you did not do so yet, you can download the RhinoScript 101 for Python.
